Several different versions of an e-mail scam have been circulating during this year's tax season. Some of the messages look very official and even feature the IRS logo. Don't be fooled! Amber Alert is a statewide notification program to help locate abducted and endangered children. A cooperative effort between the Michigan State Police, Michigan Sheriffs Association, Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police, Amber Alert of Michigan and the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, the Amber Alert program is designed to save children by locating abducted or endangered children within the first 24-hours which are the most critical hours in an abduction. The Milford Police Department is a participant in the Amber Alert of Michigan program.

 

 

 

Substitute School Crossing Guards Needed!
Are you looking for a way to help the community and earn some extra income? The Milford Police Department is looking for a couple of part-time, substitute School Crossing Guards. Earn $7.50 for each half hour assignment filling vacancies at posts near Kurtz, Baker and Johnson Elementary Schools. Training and equipment provided by police department.
